Here Comes Santa Claus, Right Down Buckingham Lane
Local firefighters will be bringing the jolly old elf up and down the streets of Bowie, collecting donations for the Bowie Interfaith Food Pantry.
You better watch out, you better not cry—because Santa Claus is coming to Bowie, courtesy of the Bowie Volunteer Fire Department.
Once again, the BFD will drive Santa all around Bowie, making curbside visits to communities across the city. Firefighters will also be collecting canned goods for the Bowie Interfaith Food Pantry. Last year, Santa's fans donated more than 3,400 food items to help feed local families, and the BFD is hoping for generous donations again this year.

BFD does its best to follow the schedule, but emergencies sometimes necessitate a changes in the schedule. The companies will do their best to visit communities that are missed on make-up dates. When Santa arrives in your community, residents who live in courts should bring their children out the main road to see Santa. BFD also reminds parents not to allow children to climb on the fire trucks.
