Check out the details of Bowie's Fourth of July celebration set for Prince George's Stadium.
July 4 is less than two weeks away. So put on your red, white and blue and head down to Prince George’s Stadium.
The city of Bowie and the Bowie Baysox have partnered to put on a Fourth of July program. The main gates of the stadium open at 6 p.m.
Admission is free and open to the public. Make sure to get there early for a good seat to watch the show.
The Fabulous Hubcaps Band will take center stage at 7:30 to begin the celebration. Fireworks are slated to light up the sky at 9:15 and the band will hit the stage again for a finale.
If you’re looking for something to do during the day, Allen Pond Park is open and free for picnics and barbeques. Space will fill up on a first-come basis.
