Join the Humane Society of the United States in celebrating National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week at the Animal Services Facility, and meet the many wonderful pets available for adoption. The group asks that visitors consider donating items from its wish list, including shoe boxes, latex gloves, surgical gowns and booties, toilet paper, thick blankets, liquid hand soap, dog beds, cat litter and litter pans, garden hoses and spray nozzles and scrub brushes.
