Help the Homeless Walkathon - 200 more walkers = $10,000 bonus to help homeless pregnant women!

There are many charities to choose to support through your registration and participation. If you can't participate, you can still register as a "virtual walker" to help your favorite charity.

I'm posting this on behalf of Gabriel Network, a 501(c)3 that provides housing and support to women facing a crisis pregnancy.

From their most recent email:
As of today, 350 walkers have registered on behalf of Gabriel Network for Fannie Mae's Help the Homeless Walkathon this Saturday, November 20th on theNational Mall in Washington, DC.

We are 200 walker registrations away from an additional $10,000 incentive from Fannie Mae with just over 24 HOURS left till the online registration deadline!!!

Online registration ends at 5pm TOMORROW (Thursday, 11/18). If you are unable to attend on Saturday, you can still help! Please register online as a VIRTUAL WALKER - this will push us towards our goal of 550 walkers!

ALL registration money goes directly to Gabriel Network and the women and babies we serve.

Register online at www.helpthehomelessdc.org and be sure to designate GABRIEL PROJECT, INC (code MD010) as your beneficiary.

There is event-day registration but the cost for adults goes up from $25 (students are $15) to $30 so register today! Gabriel Network staff and supporters will all be walking together on Saturday. We will be meeting under the letter "G" sign and carrying a Gabriel Network banner. It's supposed to be mostly sunny and mild on Saturday - we hope you will join us!
