B-CGC Open Garden

For the first time ever, Bowie-Crofton Garden Club (B-CGC) is now welcoming non-members to its "Open Garden" events. The inaugural showing will be at the home of B-CGC member Ellen Brous, who resides in scenic Beverly Beach on the Chesapeake Bay. Ms. Brous is a longtime member of the club who turned her once-barren beachfront property into her own oasis that she calls "Bayscapes Daylilies." Ms. Brous specializes in collecting Double Daylilies, and her garden has been selected as an Official Display Garden of the America Hemerocallis (Daylily) Society. She will even be selling some of her daylilies to those interested in taking home a piece of Ellen's garden. In addition, Bayscapes contains woody specimens like hydrangea, azaleas, lilacs and wisteria and a multitude of flowering perennials such as peonies, roses, hellebores and echinacea, to name a few. Please direct any questions to B-CGC Master Gardener Rich Dodson at 301-262-6984.
