Pasta for Pets!

From time to time we read of accounts of household fires where the loss is both material and deeply personal. By that I mean the loss of family members that may include pets. On Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, Bowie CLAW will be hosting Pasta for Pets! a fundraiser spaghetti and meatball dinner at Fire Station 39 (Free State Mall) on Route 450 in Bowie from 5:30 to 8:00pm.  All net proceeds from this event, which wil be catered by Cetrone's, will go towards the purchase of animal oxygen masks to equip all the ladder trucks and engines at the four Bowie fire stations.  A speaker will be on hand to speak about the need for these masks and to demonstrate their use. Door prizes will be awarded. Please join us. Tickets will be available in late July. To purchase them, please call Jo Bolig at 301-805-1887. Ticket prices are: Adults 12 and older $15.00, Childen under 12 $8.00, $1.00 discount for advance purchase.
