Whitemarsh Weed Warrior Work Day

Join in on a great volunteer opportunity and cut invasive English Ivy vines from the forest trees in Whitemarsh Park on Saturday, July 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The City of Bowie provides hand tools, and Bowie Green Team volunteers train participants.  Youth participants must be 16 years of age to use the hand tools.  Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or troop leader.  High school students may earn credit towards their required service hours for graduation.  Meet at the Bowie Playhouse parking lot in Whitemarsh Park.
