FREE Bowie Family Caregiver for Seniors Training Workshop

Are you a Family Caregiver or concerned about a
Senior Citizen?

Are you a resident or
first responder for the City of Bowie? 

Join us for the free Caregiver Workshop entitled “It’s a Family Affair:  Family and
Communities Working Together”.  This workshop is specifically targeted to Bowie residents.  It will address intergenerational issues of

seniors and their family caregivers, provide resources, and identify strategies
for reducing emotional and financial stressors, and improving family
relations.  Caregivers, First responders,
and Seniors will also discuss tips and tools for addressing the needs of
seniors during an emergency, and managing behavioral episodes caused by dementia
and Alzheimer’s disease. 

This workshop,
sponsored by Family Restoration and Healing Center, and funded by the City of Bowie, will be held on four dates
in Bowie, MD.  The next session is Friday, March 7, 2014  from 6pm till 10pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 12303 Millstream Drive, Bowie, MD 20715.
