The City of Bowie would like to invite you to attend the Bowie Farmers’ Market “Octoberfest” event. Be sure not to miss this annual fun fall fest for the whole family. Children’s activities scarecrow making and pumpkin painting will begin at 10:00 a.m. Scarecrow making participants are required to bring their own trousers, pantyhose, and a long sleeve shirt. Pumpkins can be purchased from the market vendors.
The Farmers’ Market offers fresh produce, fruits, breads, jams and jellies, vegetables, bedding plants and cut flowers and operates Sundays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. through October 28. For additional information call 301-809-3078.
