Chesapeake Bay Health Discussion Group
On Feb, 6th, at 7:00 p.m., the Environment Stewardship Committee of St. Matthew’s UMC assisted
by Gary Allen, Executive Director for the Center for Chesapeake Communites will continue its discussion
of the health of the Chesapeake Bay. We plan to compare the Bay issues with climate change issues
and the failure to prevent and ameliorate the many difficulties surrounding each. Finally, we will posit
actions to be taken (for the issues involved) that may have influence upon our representatives, fellow
citizens and ourselves. What a shame if the gifts provided by the Bay and the Earth to sustain our lives
end up being lost.
