Community Corner

Annual Meeting of Severn Crossroads Foundation

All are invited to attend the Annual Membership Meeting of Severn Crossroads Foundation on Sunday, Oct. 27, beginning at 3PM at Historic Baldwin Hall in Millersville.

Built in 1861 and on the National Register of Historic Places, Historic Baldwin Hall is maintained by Severn Crossroads Foundation. A community treasure, Baldwin Hall is home to local Scout troops, the Arts (SPARK Dance Troupe and Chesapeake Harmony Chorus to name two), the popular seasonal Bay Country Craft Shows and other community events. If you've ever been curious about Baldwin Hall, Severn Crossroads Foundation and what we do, this is the perfect time to find out! We'd be delighted to show off recent improvements and share our love of this grand facility with you.

Though not a regious facility, The Hall is considered a significant example of 19th century country church architecture and features beautiful arched windows, a tiered balcony, a stage and more. The Hall is available for rent for wedding receptions, anniversary parties, family reunions, business functions and more.

Historic Baldwin Hall is located at the intersection of Millersville Road and Old General's Highway in Millersville, with plenty of free parking. We look forward to seeing you!
