American Cancer Society Cancer Prevention Study-3 Kickoff

Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3) is a historic study with the potential to change the face of cancer for this and future generations. It is happening here in Anne Arundel during the week of September 15-21, 2013. We have the opportunity to join over 200,000 Americans who have already signed up for this landmark study that will help researchers better understand the lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer.

We invite you to attend our kickoff event at the Carver Staff Development Center (2671 Carver Road, Gambrills, MD 21054) on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 6:30pm to learn more about how we can come closer to eliminating cancer as a major health burden. You will hear from community and business leaders such as Maryland Senator Edward R. Reilly, Dr. Kevin Maxwell, Anne Arundel County Superintendent of Schools, Cathy Copertino, executive director of the AAMC Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute and Dr. Rian Dickstein of Chesapeake Urology Associates. This is our community's chance to fight back against a disease that take too much. If you would like to join us as we make cancer history, please RSVP by July 15 by contacting Nick Farano at (410) 721-4304 or Nick.Farano@cancer.org. To enroll in the study, visit www.cps3corridor.org.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
