10th Annual Riverfest 5K Run & 2 Mile Walk to benefit First Generation College Bound

First Generation College Bound (FGCB) is holding our 10th Riverfest 5K
Run & 2 Mile Walk fundraising event on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at
9:00am in Laurel, Maryland. Our mission is to empower youth from low to
moderate income families in achieving social and economic success by
providing guidance, encouragement and support in obtaining a college
degree. In June, we recognized 137 high school graduates that will be
attending colleges across the country, 30 college graduates, and 2
graduate degree graduates. To date, we have over 400 college graduates

Middle School & Laurel High School, to name a few. Proceeds raised
from this 5K fundraiser will support our programs for the 2013-2014
academic year. So come out and race for education! There is a $25
