Wintry Weather in the Forecast

No major snow is predicted, but some cold and wet precipitation is predicted to fall in Prince George's County over the next two days.


While no major snow event is forecasted in Prince George’s County this week, there is some wintry weather in our future.

According to the National Weather Service, rain mixed with snow and sleet is likely tonight, switching to all rain by 4 a.m. Lows of around 35 degrees are predicted and little to no accumulation is expected. 

Friday’s weather is predicted to be rainy and foggy, with highs around 45 degrees. The weather will turn cooler and breezy, with winds increasing to 20 to 25 mph after midnight. NWS gives a 30 percent chance of snow overnight, again with little to no accumulation.
