Bowie Mayor G. Frederick Robinsongave his this week and said that there is more than 2 million square feet of office and flex space in Bowie with about 402,000 square feet vacant. That translates to an occupancy rate of around 80 percent.

The speed cameras were a hot topic among Bowie Patch readers on Facebook as many confessed to getting tickets in school zones. The newest camera will arrive in February to control speeding near by installing the cameras near the intersection of Kenhill Drive and Fair Lane.
