Weather in Prince George's County for Election Day

It's going to be sunny, but check out these temps!

Sun has been in short supply over the past week, but we're seeing it Monday in Prince George's County.

However, according to the NWS forecast discussion, “Despite plenty of sunshine … max temps will remain below normal.”

Temperatures are expected to hit just 49 degrees and drop to about 30 overnight.

Tuesday, Election Day, we’ll see clear, sunny skies with highs in the mid-40s. Tuesday night, temperatures should drop to the mid-30s.

Back to cloudy skies Wednesday, when rain is likely during the day and at night and temperatures range from the mid-30s to the mid-40s.

According to the hazardous weather outlook, a coastal storm could hit the area beginning Wednesday, but “there remains uncertainty with regard to the exact track of this system.”

If the storm does it, there is potential for "accumulating snowfall along with gusty winds and localized flooding due to heavy rainfall.”

There’s a chance of rain and snow Thursday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of about 47 degrees. Thursday night, temperatures drop to the mid-30s.

The sun should return Friday, and temperatures should rise to the low-50s during the day and drop to the mid-30s at night.

My primary goal of forming this group, is to give all of us sufferers a feeling of belonging. SoRead More many people feel like they have no where, and no one to turn to, and I want to be that person and provide a group that can offer a pick-me-up throughout the day, or something to look forward to mid-week. So far, I have had 3 people reach out to me which is wonderful, however, I would like to have at least 5 people for our first meeting. I look forward to hearing from YOU soon! ~Cheers, Brittany
