Solution Nearing For Mill Branch Crossing Access Road

A local access road would bring multipurpose fields to Bowie and a new development.

Developers and park planners may be on the brink of an agreement about an access road near the Bowie Baysox, after years of delays.

According to The Washington Post, the developer, W.F. Chesley Real Estate of Crofton is pushing the county to approve the plan so it can begin publicity for the Mill Branch Crossing center.

If the access road is opened, Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission would also be able to build the multipurpose athletic fields.
