UPDATE: Flood Watch Lifted for Bowie Area

Rain is expected to roll in around midday and continue overnight.

A flood watch issued earlier in the day for Bowie and the surrounding region has been canceled.

Bowie and much of the region will be under a flood watch Tuesday afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service reports.

Rain is forecast to begin around noon and continue overnight. Between one and two inches of rainfall are expected by day's end, with temperatures ranging from the low- to mid-40s.

Winds may pick up too, with possible gusts in the low 20 mph range.

More rain is forecast for Wednesday, mostly before 1 p.m. Expect cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid-50s during the day.

There’s yet another chance of showers on Thursday, with temperatures in the mid-40s.
