City of Bowie License Plates Now Available

The program is about five weeks from implementation, but residents can begin submitting applications.

Bowie resident will so have a new way to display their civic pride—on their cars. 

City of Bowie residents can now apply for license plates displaying the city seal and the letters "BOW."

The plates will be issued by the Motor Vehicle Association (MVA) for a $25 fee. Applications for Bowie plates can be found on the city's website here, and should be fill out and returned to the city for residency verification.

Completed applications can be mailed to Bowie city hall at 15901 Excalibur Road, attention Denise Mahoney, and should include a $25 check made out to the MVA.

The city will forward verified applications, along with the checks, on to the MVA.
