City of Bowie Hosts Third Annual Job Fair Friday

More than 30 employers hiring for hundreds of jobs will be in attendance.

Looking for a new job? The city of Bowie wants to help.

The city will be hosting a job fair on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 26 at the City of Bowie Gymnasium. The fair is free to both job seekers and employers.

So far, more than 30 employers hiring for more than 300 positions have signed on to attend the fair, and according to the city, more are signing up every day.

This year’s list of employers includes the Prince George’s County Fire Department, the Prince George’s County Police Department, Alban Cat, Comcast Cable, Suntrust Bank, Sirius XM Radio and many more. A full list of employers can be found online here

Job seekers are asked to complete a short registration form before entering the fair. The form can be found online here, and will also be available at the job fair.

This is the third consecutive year the city of Bowie has hosted a job fair. Last year’s fair attracted over 35 employers and more than 800 job seekers.
