Patch reader Christine Conally sent this photo she took of the walking path to from the neighborhood on the Riverton side.
"Apparently, sometime during the school day a driver thought that this was a road," she wrote in an email to Patch. "It was flooded this morning at drop-off time. When I went to pick up my kids this afternoon, it was a muddy torn up mess."
After a power outage at Rockledge this afternoon, children were moved to DuVal High School in Lanham.
