ADOPT A FRIEND - ADOPT BEN, A CAT WITH A GREAT PERSONALITY!

ADOPT BEN-A GREAT ORANGE TABBY THAT WILL JUST TICKLE YOUR FANCY!

Ben came in to the Prince George’s County Animal Shelter as a stray so we don’t know much about him other than he needs a forever home with a loving human companion to cuddle up with.

Ben has a lovely bushy tail which he enjoys swishing about. He knows he's handsome - and we know it too. Ben was found wandering on a very busy road. After somene placed him in a safe place the animal control officer brought him back to our shelter where he is warm and fed well. Ben likes to stay active, he enjoys his toys immensely and wouldn't argue with being showered in stuffed mice (toy mice that is!). It appears that Ben likes the company of other cats. Ben is waiting for you.

TIP OF THE WEEK

House Cat Health

All house cats need to be vetted as soon as they enter your home. Cats should have regular veterinarian care and should be up to date on their shots. Your house cat should have a healthy diet, which will keep it from getting sick, and clean water, which is essential to good health.

Pay attention to your house cat. If it is acting lethargic, has runny eyes, has molting fur or changes to its skin or has yellowed gums, it might be sick. Cats need regular veterinarian appointments and owners who pay close attention to their health. When in doubt, an appointment with a veterinarian is necessary.
