Teavana Tea Emporium Steeping In Bowie Town Center

Prefer tea over coffee? You'll want to check out Teavana, a new loose leaf tea emporium currently under construction in Bowie Town Center. 

According to its website, the goal of Teavana is "To provide fresh, high quality teas and the products to serve them. And to create a unique tea experience in each store by encouraging a positive, healthy outlook for all who enter."

The shop will sell a variety of loose leaf teas from across the globe as well as tea kettles, teapots, rock sugar, tea cups and mugs and other tea appliances. It will be located on Emerald Way in Bowie Town Center, across from JoS. A. Bank and Francesca's. 

Renovations on the storefront have been on going for a couple of weeks, and it will likely be a few months before Teavana is ready to open, according to Cristina Montanez, the director of mall marketing and business development for Simon Property Group, who own Bowie Town Center. 

Teavana's store in Bowie Town Center will be the retailers first location in Prince George's County and sixth store in Maryland. There are Teavana stores located in Annapolis Mall, Columbia Mall, Montgomery Mall, Towson Mall and Westfield Wheaton Shopping Mall.
