New Thrift Store Now Open In Bowie

The store sells gently used items and also accepts donations of clothing and other items.

Looking to donate some gently used clothing or household items? Head over to the Neighborhood Thrift Store in the Whitehall shopping center in Bowie.

Open for about three weeks now, the Neighborhood Thrift Store sells gently used shoes, books, kids clothing, artwork CDs, movies and more. Customers can also drop off their gently used items at the store for donation and receive a tax receipt.

"We sell just about everything," said store owner Daniel Ogan.

The Neighborhood Thrift Store is located at 7408 Laurel-Bowie Rd. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
