Map: Where to Find Farmers Markets in Prince George's County

There's at least one greenmarket open five days a week in the county.

If you need to buy some fresh produce, artisan breads, or other locally-sourced food items, you're in luck: Prince George’s County has at least two farmers markets open five days out of the week during the summer months.

By clicking on the check marks on the right, you can filter the options by day of the week. Green markers mean the markets are open that particular day. Gray markers mean that the markets are either closed that day, out of season or closed indefinitely.

MONDAY


There aren’t any farmers markets operating on Mondays in Prince George’s County, but there are other ways to get your fresh food fix.

Consider joining a Community Supported Agriculture system that serves your neighborhood. When you join a CSA, you can pick up produce from a local farm every week. Check out Clagett Farm or Jug Bay Market Garden. Weekly pick-ups for Jug Bay Market Garden produce takes place Monday evenings.

FRIDAY

There may not be a farmers market today in Prince George’s County, but that doesn’t mean you can’t access fresh food. In fact, it may be a good day to start planning your own garden.

Prince George’s County has four community gardens where residents can grow their own fruits and vegetables. Interested gardeners and future farmers should register on the first business day of February to reserve a plot for the following season. Plots are located in College Park, Landover and Capitol Heights.
