Bed Bath & Beyond Officially Closed in Bowie Town Center

The store relocated to Gambrills, where it opened on Thursday.

Another storefront in the Bowie Town Center has been left empty with the official .

Although the store is still filled with merchandise, make no mistake--Bed Bath & Beyond in Bowie is closed for business.  with no plans to open another store in Bowie.

Workers will be packing up the remaining merchandise over the next several days and sending the goods over to the new store.

Will you take your business three miles north to shop at Bed Bath & Beyond in Crofton, or will you find an alternative store for linens and home goods here in Bowie? What business would you like to see fill in recently vacated storefront?

I will take my business elsewhere. I called the 1-800 number and filed a complaint. He we go again. Prince George's county residents treated like second class citizens.

a Whole Foods would be a very nice competitor to the Safeyway which in my opinion doesn't have the best quality of food anyways. I also hate having to drive to Annapolis to go to Whole Foods.

I agree. We should the good residences of PG County be force to put up with crap? There is no reason for bed, bath & beyond or Old navy to relocate 3 miles to Anne arundel county. We need to more representation from our elected leaders to ensure that businesses stay on our county!
