No Injuries in Glenn Dale House Fire

The fire started in a second floor bathroom ceiling fan, according to a fire department spokesperson.

Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire in the second story of a Glenn Dale home Tuesday afternoon, according to Prince George's County Fire Department Spokesperson Mark Brady.

Firefighters responded to a call in the 11300 block of Old Prospect Hill Road in Glenn Dale to find smoke showing from the roof of of a two-story home. 

The fire began in a second story bathroom ceiling fan with some extension, Brady said. Firefighters extinguished the flames quickly. No injuries were reported. 

There was about $2,500 worth of damage to the home, and the residents were not displace, Brady said.
