WSSC Looks For Young Artists To Participate In Clean Water Poster Contest

Winners would receive $100 and their art would be published in a calendar.

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission is looking for second to fifth grade students to enter a contest to draw an image to promote the theme, “Our Part of the Chesapeake Bay: Let’s Keep Our Water Clean.”

The deadline to enter is Friday, Oct. 28 and students must live in Prince George's or Montgomery counties.

Out of the entries, 12 will be chosen as winners, and those students will receive $100 each and the opportunity to have their artwork featured as part of a 2012 calendar.
