The next round of FOX's The X Factor airs Wednesday at 8 p.m., and Bowie native Marcus Canty has made it down to the last seven performers.
Canty has a lot of supporters, his personal Twitter account has amassed more than 40,000 followers and retweet messages from followers all over the country, and internationally, showing their support for the 20-year-old Bowie resident.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the judges, L.A. Ried, has promised Canty that if he wins the competition, he will buy him a 2012 Bentley, which on average goes for about $200,000.
