Performance by Ritmo Cache during United Parish of Bowie's Rally Sunday

Ritmo Caché, the College of Southern Maryland's Latin Ensemble, consists of CSM music students and community members who come together every Wednesday to share a love of Latin-American music and culture. The band was created by Dr. Stephen Johnson in 2006 as a new ensemble in CSM's music program. Ritmo Caché performs a concert each fall and hosts a Latin Music festival in the spring. The band does outreach for the college at off-campus venues; past performances have included Borders Books and Music, Arizona Pizza, "Celebration of the Arts" at CSM's Prijnce Frederick Campus, and the Plein Air Art Festival in Solomon's at Carmen's Gallery. The band plays a variety of music, including salsa, merengue, bossa nova, Latin jazz, Latin pop, Mexican, and many other styles.Ritmo Caché is pleased to be invited to be a part of the United Parish of Bowie's Rally Sunday!
