Bowie State University Theatre Presents David Mamet’s Controversial “OLEANNA”

Bowie State University Theatre will explore sexual
harassment and the imbalance of power in student-professor relationships in a production of David Mamet’s OLEANNA, a two-person play about a professor accused of sexual violation by his younger female student. The play runs March 15-18 on the Bowie State University campus at the Fine and Performing Arts Center’s Black Box Theater.  

Performances start on Thursday, March 15 and run through Sunday, March 18 at the following times:

  • Thursday, March 15 at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.
  • Friday, March 16 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
    Saturday, March 17 at 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 18 at 3 p.m.

The 11 a.m. March 15 showing includes a special “talk-back” question and answer session with the cast and the director.
