Local author will sign books and talk to attendees about her debut middle-grade/young adult novel set in Bowie, Md. The book about a young girl saving unwanted horses is very descriptive of Maryland and includes organizations such as Loftmar Stables, Freedom Hill Horse Rescue, and Thoroughbred Placement and Training, Inc.
