Auditions for the Annapolis Shakespeare Company Production of Cymbeline

The Annapolis Shakespeare Company is accepting submissions from non-Equity actors for all roles for our fall production of Shakespeare’s Cymbeline at the Bowie Playhouse in White Marsh Park. Auditions will be held by appointment on August 7-8 , 2012.

The production will be directed by Sally Boyett-D'Angelo.  The production will rehearse  August 27 - October 17, 2012. Performances will run October 18-27, 2012 at the Bowie Playhouse.

Non-Equity Adult Actors:

Experienced adult actors auditioning for principal roles should prepare two contrasting monologues from any of Shakespeare’s works (at least one should be in verse).  Adults actors auditioning for ensemble roles should prepare one monologue in verse.  Please bring 2 copies of your headshot/resume (stapled together) to your audition appointment.  A number of stipends are available for principal roles.

Advanced Student Actors (13-18):

The Annapolis Shakespeare Company is a teaching company and offers opportunities for advanced secondary school students to participate in a percentage of ensemble roles.  These auditions are open to all students ages 13-18.  There is a workshop fee of $300 for young actors in training.
