AUDITIONS:

30 Reason Not to Be in a Play

WHEN: 

Monday June 4 and Tuesday June 5 at 7pm.  Callbacks (if necessary) Wednesday June 6 at 7pm. 

WHERE: 

Charis Center for the Arts, 13010 8th Street Bowie, MD 20720 

WHO:  

Students ages 12-20. Please bring your schedules with you and be prepared to declare conflicts throughout the rehearsal schedule. 

Rehearsals begin on June 11 and run Mondays through Thursdays at 7:00 PM each week at the Charis Center. Evening performances are Friday, August 3, 4, 10, and 11 at 7:00 PM. Sunday matinees are August 5 and 12 at 2:00 PM. All cast members are required to be at all rehearsals during tech week from July 30 through August 2. 

SYNOPSIS:

 Stage kisses, pinkeye, inciting World War III -- these are only a few of the many things that can go wrong during the production of a play. From the author of 15 Reasons Not To Be in a Play comes a full evening of the horrors and hardships that befall those who feel the call of the stage. In a series of hilarious examples, this play proves that drama can be a very dangerous thing and it must be avoided at all costs. Numerous characters and shenanigans ensue!
