17th Annual Country Fest and Auction

This annual, one-day family event will feature a variety of activities for people of all ages, from a horseshoeing demonstration and a lively auction for adults to an aerial candy drop (weather permitting) and pedal tractor pull for the children. The Country Fest also offers plenty of food, such as fresh produce, home-baked goods, homemade noodles, jams and jellies, made-on-the-premises raised doughnuts and soft pretzels, a chicken BBQ, funnel cakes and turned ice cream. The auction begins at 10:30 a.m., with a quilt auction taking place at 1:30 p.m., featuring a one-of-a-kind locally designed Civil War quilt, “Lest We Forget," to be sold at the 2012 auction. In addition, there will be live gospel music provided by Myerstown, PA, singing group Good News. Admission and parking are free.
