'Dracula' Opens Tonight at the Bowie Playhouse

The Bowie Community Theater's production of this scary classic will run until mid-October.

Just in time for for Halloween, the Bowie Community Theater’s production of Dracula opens at the Bowie Playhouse at 8 p.m. tonight, Sept. 28.

An adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic novel, this play by Hamilton Deane and John Bladerston tells the tale of an English woman, Lucy, who has fallen ill. Dr. Van Helsing believes that Lucy has fallen victim to a blood sucking, vampire menace.

This production of Dracula is being directed by Michael Forgetta and will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Oct.13. General admission tickets are $17 and senior/student tickets are $12. Check the event listing of Bowie Patch for more details.
