City to Celebrate Global Culture with Annual Festival Saturday

The annual Bowie International Festival will feature food and entertainment from different cultures worldwide with some new acts joining with festival veterans.

The city's annual International Festival is on again today, featuring food, song, dance and more from different cultures around the world. brought out an estimated 8,000 people to for the festivities.

For the kids, the city will run its "passport" program again, giving kids an opportunity to do different activities at stations throughout the park while getting a stamp for completing the tasks.

Parking is available at the park or in the neighborhoods surrounding Allen Pond Park. The address of the park is 3300 Northview Drive.
