Update, 12:05 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Bowie and areas of Prince George's County until 12:30 p.m. Monday. These storms may produce winds in excess of 60 mph, according to the National Weather Service. "This is a dangerous line of storms. If you are in its path...move indoors to a sturdy building and stay away from windows," advises NWS. The tornado warning remains in effect for the area until 5 p.m. Monday. Original story, 9:05 a.m.: A mid-west storm system responsible for snow on North Dakota and tornadoes in Nebraska, brings the possibility of tornadoes to Bowie Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
