3 Injured in Airplane Crash off Rt. 50 in Bowie
Three people were injured when a small aircraft crashed into a tree next to the westbound lanes of Route 50 (between Church Road and Route 197) in Bowie at about 3:45 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 2. The passengers and pilot were identified the following day. 

Thieves Target Patrons at Bowie-Area Gas Station

Thieves were caught on camera stealing personal belongings from patrons at the Fairwood Safeway gas station in Bowie.

Manhunt Leads to Lockdown at Holy Trinity Day School

6 Injured in Bowie Crash
A crash on Church Road at Danube Lane sent six people to the hospital on Sept. 22. Two children suffered life-threatening injuries and were taken to trauma centers as a result of the crash, and two adults and two children suffered serious injuries and were also taken for medical treatment.
