Snow May Lead to Slippery Wednesday Morning Commute

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Prince George's County, with some snow likely overnight.

A winter weather weather advisory has been issued for Prince George's County from 6 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday, with 1-2 inches of snow and freezing cold temperatures expected to blow into the area Tuesday night. 

The National Weather Service is calling for 1 to 2 inches of snow Tuesday night, mainly between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. 

Temperatures overnight will be in the teens, with winds blowing 5 to 10 mph. 

There may be some impact on the Tuesday evening commute, but NWS predicts the worst conditions will occur overnight, leaving roads snowy and slippery for the Wednesday morning commute.
