Six Flags in Upper Marlboro will open on March 23, and this year is introducing a season dining pass, according to a company official.
For the first time, patrons can pre-purchase season dining passes and get cheeseburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, salads, chicken strips, pizza or other select menu items—without paying more than their purchase price, no matter how many days they visit, according to Havilah Ross, Six Flags spokeswoman.
For $69.99, season and gold card pass holders can purchase the dining pass and have two meals per day per visit, according to Ross. Dining pass holders can select one meal item on the attached menu for lunch and one for dinner during valid meal times, according to Ross. But they will pay $1 to $2 more if they select any premium items, which are designated by two asterisks (**), she said. Please see the attached menu for details on meal options, hours and guidelines.
Drinks other than water are not included in the dining pass, but Six Flags has a $9.99 season plan for discounts on sodas, tea, lemonade and other drinks according to Ross. See its website site for details.
A season dining pass holder who comes to the park eight times during the season and eats lunch and dinner will essentially be have pre-paid $8.75 for both, or $4.37 per meal, Ross said. But if the patron comes more frequently, he or she will be paying even less per meal, according to Ross.
Please see the attached Six Flags schedule for dates and availability and check its website for updates.
Opening and closing dates for 2013, and other key dates include the following, according to Ross:
