PG County Road Crews Ready for More Snow

Prince George's County road crews will be out Monday night to treat roads in advance of predicted snow.

From a Prince George's County News Release:

Snow has once again been forecasted for the Washington metropolitan area. In preparation for the possible accumulation of 1 to 2 inches of snow in the area, the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation will deploy crews this evening to monitor and treat the roadways.

“The crews will focus on the primary roads and then will move into the residential areas to treat the roadways,” said DPW&T Acting Director Darrell Mobley. “With the temperatures falling below freezing, the roadways may become icy. Motorists are asked to stay alert and use caution when driving.”
