Patch Whiz Kids of the Week: Bowie High's Graduating Basketball Stars

Although they couldn't clinch the 4A South championship, the Bowie High School girls team had a great season.

Whiz Kid's Accomplishments: These three seniors made a huge impact on Bowie High's basketball program in their last year of play, notably going undefeated at home. Finishing off the season at 24-4, they were the No. 1 seed going into the playoffs. 

They had a , winning 104-10, and got coach Michael Hines his 100th career win in their victory over Wise in the regular season.

Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness (what made her successful?): was the team's top scorer, with Tate and Mbionwu also making significant contributions most games. They've worked hard to have such a success this season, and deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments! Congrats on a great season, girls!
