Iconic Bowie: Belair Mansion

The Georgian plantation-style mansion is one most recognizable structures in the city of Bowie.

Constructed in 1745, and located on Tulip Grove Drive, Belair Mansion was at one time the plantation home of former Maryland Governor Samuel Ogle, and has a prominent place in racehorse breeding history.

The mansion is now owned and maintained by the city of Bowie and functions as a museum.
