BenT but not Broken Benefit Concert

  • When: Saturday, May 25, 1 p.m.
  • Description:  "BenT but not Broken" is trying to raise funds for suicide prevention and raise awareness of this important cause.  In memory of Benny Toulotte, a hometown Bowie Boy as well as too many others who lost their battle to suicide, visitors are invited to listen to 11 bands throughout the day and night. There will be 2 Corn Hole Tournaments as well as a silent auction and many door prizes.

Kenny Chesney’s “No Shoes Nation” Tour

  • Where: Fed/EX Stadium, 1600 Raljon Rd, Landover
  • When: Saturday, May 25
  • Description: The Corona Light Presents Kenny Chesney's 'No Shoes Nation' Tour, starring Kenny Chesney, will feature special guest Eric Church - whose critically-acclaimed album 'Chief' was named 'Album of the Year' at the 2012 CMA Awards - as well as Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves.

8th Annual Rivers to Rockets Bike Rally

  • Where: Duvall Field, 9200 Rhode Island Ave, College Park
  • When: Saturday, May 25, 10 a.m.
  • Description: Visitors are welcome to join Maryland Milestones as they explore historic, cultural, and natural places and sites around the Heritage Area.  They will leave from Duvall Field in College Park - on the old Trolley Line - and start our ride past Riversdale House Museum, the City of Hyattsville, Riverdale Park, and College Park - spanning over 200 years of  history in a 18 mile bike ride.

Car Wash Fundraiser

  • Where: 9407 Lanham Severn Rd, Lanham
  • When: Saturday, May 25, 12 p.m.
  • Description: Car wash fund raiser to help support EEA Competitive Cheer.

Latin Festival 2013

FREE Face Painting for Movie Goers - EPIC

  • Where: Academy Stadium Theaters, 6198 Greenbelt Rd, Greenbelt
  • When: Saturday, May 25, 1:30 p.m.
  • Description: On May25 2013 and May 26, 2013 there will be FREE face painting for kids of all ages that come to watch the movie EPIC starting at 1:30pm through 4:30pm on both dates.
