Bowie License Plates Hit the Streets
The Maryland Motor Vehicle Association began issuing the plates to applicants in August.
A few dozen Bowie residents are riding in style and displaying their civic pride on their vehicles with recently issued City of Bowie license plates.
If you weren't among the first residents to get a Bowie license plate, fear not! You can still apply for a plate here on the city's website.
Completed applications can be mailed to Bowie city hall at 15901 Excalibur Road, attention Denise Mahoney, and should include a $25 check made out to the MVA.
The city will forward verified applications, along with the checks, on to the MVA. The MVA will then issued the plates to applicants.
