Porta-Potty Burns, What's Up With Walmart: Today in Prince George's

1. Severe injuries in porta-potty blaze. A man sustained life-threatening injuries after being pulled from a porta-potty that was engulfed in flames in College Park Tuesday morning. Authorities suspect the incident may have been a suicide attempt. Read more on Patch

2. Snow more or snow less?  A few weeks ago, the Capital Weather Gang predicted a mild winter with little snow. Local television weather forecasters disagree. ABC7's Doug Hill is calling for normal winter temps and average snow fall, and NBC4's Doug Kammerer is predicting an especially wintery season with colder than average temps and snowfall of up to 23 inches in the region. 

3. Dollars and cents. A vote on a Prince George's County minimum wage increase may happen today. The bill is on the County Council agenda for Tuesday, the last scheduled legislative session of 2013.

4. Eat until you shop. Here's a list of stores that are opening their doors on Thanksgiving in advance of Black Friday. 

5. '90s rock revival. People in your middle 30s, rejoice! The Gin Blossoms and Blues Traveler are playing in Annapolis Tuesday night

6. What's up with Walmart. Bowie residents and stakeholders are invited to attend a public hearing about the retailer's application for a special exception to build a 186,000-square-foot store in the city.
