Grenade Does Not Go Boom, Celebrating Thanksgivukkah: Today in Prince George's

1. Grenade causes scare in Bowie. An inert grenade found on a suspected shoplifter caused the shutdown of Macy's in Bowie Town Center for several hours Tuesday night. 

2. Giving thanks for Thanksgivukkah. In a rare occurrence, Thanksgiving and Hanukkah coincide this year. Here are some ideas for celebrating the two-for-one holiday.

3. Trademark infringement? Can a commonly used word be trademarked? One company thinks so, and is suing a Maryland company and several others for using the word "entrepreneur."

4. New safety features coming to public schools. PGCPS CEO Kevin Maxwell says that there will be new some new safety features added to schools, possible including a driver's license scanner that checks the IDs against a sex offender registry. Read more on The Gazette.
