Rotten 2 the Core Kidz Spa Will Open in Bowie Town Center on June 7th

Rotten 2 the Core Kidz Spa (R2C) will be holding a grand opening event of its location in Bowie at the Bowie Town Center on June 7th from noon to 5pm. This haven for girls has gained a tremendous following over the last four years and the owner Karen Thomas is known locally as an advocate for young girls, a mentor and entrepreneur.

Rotten 2 the Core Kidz Spa services are perfect for all ages; Birthday Events, Cheerleaders, Girls Scout, Girls Night In, Sweet 16's, or just simply celebrate your special girl for who she is! R2C specializes in age-appropriate spa and salon services for girls, tweens and teenagers.  They provide an array of services from manicures, pedicures and make-up to walking the runway.

The event has secured both local and national sponsors and over 200 guest/patrons are expected, including Bowie City Councilman, Todd Turner. Most of the activities will be spa related, but there will also be characters for photo ops, music, prizes, food and games. Girls can purchase mini manicures and mini makeovers for $5each and all other spa services will be discounted.

The event is sponsored by African Pride (Dream Kids), Egyptian Magic, Pretzel Crisps, Luck Star Style Nail Decals, Mini & Meez, Natasha’s Just Brittle and Geddes School Supplies. The first 50 girls will receive Ultimate Swag Bags and additional bags will be given out while supplies last.

The Bowie location is currently accepting applications for spa assistants ages 15 & up. For more info call 301-262-2033.
