MACC Sports Camps (ages 2yrs-5th grade)

Mid Atlantic Community Church has been serving our region for ten years and MACC Summer Sports Camps have become part of the DNA here in our region says Bill Craig, their pastor of missions, sports and evangelism who grew up in Bowie, is a graduate of Bowie High and wrestled on the Bowie High wrestling team.  He says to expect an exciting, fun filled summer at the MACC as they help to celebrate Crofton’s 50 year anniversary. Their sports program also provide scholarships for children who can’t afford quality sports camps  elsewhere. The camps also announce the arrival of summer for all the children in our region.
Starting June 23 and ending on August 21 MACC sports camps will be held on their new campus property on Davidsonville road. Their new multi-million facility http://www.themacc.org/newcampus will not only be a church home, it will be a sports complex and community center for the city and region that will open officially in August. Until the grand opening their Sports Camps will be the first events held on their new campus property located on Davidsonville Road in Crofton, MD.  Kid Gym starts their Summer of Sports camps off. Geared for children 2yrs - 4yrs it is designed to encourage strength, flexibility and coordination through gymnastics and basic sport movements. Kid Gym will help with spatial and muscle awareness along imagination development. The camp will help to boost confidence, group play, and encourage trying new things at an early age. We believe its never too early to begin working on listening skills, and cultivating a sense of confidence for ages 2 through 4.
MACC Sports Camps continue all summer for children 5 yrs - 5th grade. The camps include basketball, soccer, cheerleading, flag football, lacrosse, tennis, volleyball, baseball, field hockey, softball and golf. Then on August 22 we will close out our summer camps with a back to school 5k Family Color run on our New Church Campus. We will be partnering with Walk the Walk to collect back to school backpacks for area schools.  We have exceptional coaches leading all of our camps including former pro and college level athletes. To register for any or all of these camps please call our MACC Sports team at 410-451-5110 or sign up online at www.themacc.org .
